Becoming Friends With Chaos

“Chaos is a friend of mine.” - Bob Dylan

In one storyline, in one place and time, it began with a guy and an electric guitar.

In another storyline, in a different place and time, it began with a gal, an acoustic guitar, and a bottle of whiskey.

This book was born of that second story.

(Whiskey might have been involved in the first story, too. Who’s to say.)

This book is a mixed-media collection of works inspired by Bob Dylan.

Born out of many cups of rye whiskey and tea.
Sometimes rye whiskey in tea.

Charcoal and uncertainty.

Each chapter is thematically based, and examines topics such as the infamous 1965 Newport Folk Festival, music, books, and love.

Of course love.

One of my favorite parts of this project was a fantastical photoshoot as inspiration for a mash-up one-act play of two of my favorite characters: Bob Dylan and Alice in Wonderland.

I’ve always been curious as to what these two might have to say to one another.

Get the book to find out! (wink wink)
